Olá, tudo bem? Sou Menjis_sd (Mateus.S.D)

Na escola eu sempre gostei das apresentações de teatro, das aulas práticas de arte e sempre tinha um desejo tímido em conhecer e praticar a arte. Eu até tive vontade de ser cantor. Porém, foi no Ensino Médio que comecei a praticar desenho e pintura. A partir disso, decidi que faria parte do mundo artístico. Hoje busco desenvolver trabalhos que casem o abstrato com o figurativo, o racional com o irracional. 

Busco na arte, não uma forma de expressar meus sentimentos, mas a exploração estética e dos materiais pela aproximação do formal com o informal. O processo de produção das minhas obras é intimista e profundo, quase um estado meditativo.

At school I always enjoyed theater presentations, practical art classes and I always felt a shy desire to discover and practice art. I even wanted to be a singer. However, it was in high school that I started to practice drawing and painting. From that, I decided that I would be part of the artistic world. Today I seek to develop works that marry the abstract with the figurative, the rational with the irrational. 

I look in art, not a way to express my feelings, but the exploration of aesthetics and materials by approaching the formal with the informal. The production process of my works is intimate and profound, almost a meditative state.
